The Dow up 214 points today. The Nasdaq Index has been gaining ground for the last two months. Has the bull here yet? Not yet. This is only a bear market rally. The graph above show the Dow Index since 1999 up to the present. Notice the internet bubble burst at the end of 1999 and it was slowly reaching the bottom at October 2002. There was another big correction dropping 1200 points after the dead cat bounced for about 5 months. This recession is more severe than the one in 1999.
