General Motor filed bankruptcy earlier today. General Motor was kicked out of the DOW 30. The troubled Citigroup was also given the boot. Cisco Systems (CSCO) and The Travelers (TRV) join in with Alcoa (AA), American Express (AXP), AT & T (T), Caterpillar (CAT), Coca-Cola (KO), Boeing (BA), DuPont (DD), Exxon (XOM), General Electric (GE), Hewlett Packard (HPQ), Home Depot (HD), Intel (INTC), IBM (IBM), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), J P Morgan (JPM), McDonald (MCD), Merck (MRK), Microsoft (MSFT), Pfizer (PFE), Procter & Gamble (PG), United Technology (UTX), 3 M (MMM), Verizon Communication (VZ), Wal-Mart (WMT), Walt Disney (DIS), Bank of America (BAC), Chevron (CVX), and Kraft Food (KFT) to make up the new DOW 30 effecive June 8.
